Study on the efficiency of desiccant rotary wheels

Analyses the deficiency of present definition of rotary wheels, and puts forward a new rotary efficiency definition. Establishes a one-dimensional transient LiCl rotary numerical model, calculates the desiccant rotary wheel efficiency under different temperature and humidity ratio of regeneration air and treating air, and the results are in good agreement with the experimental results. When the rotary wheel efficiency is 0.85, the errors are within deviation of ±20%, and most of all are within deviation of ±10%.
